GENERAL

“What is a WAHVE remote contract worker?”

A wahve is a person who is in “phased” retirement and would prefer working from home using her/his institutional knowledge and years of experience.

“How do I apply to become a wahve?”

Click “apply” and complete our Preliminary Application.  One of our staff will call you for an interview.

“When will I be contacted after I submit my information online?”

You will immediately receive a confirmation email verifying we received your information and that we will be contacting you for an interview.  You will then be asked to complete a full online application and submit your resume and copies of any licenses and designations.  We interview you to determine your qualifications and skill sets.  We hire based upon our client needs.  If we do not currently have a position that matches your expertise, we will keep your resume and information on file and contact you when we have something available.  Please visit our website regularly for any updates.

“When do I get hired?”

If you meet the job qualifications of our clients, we may ask you to take a computer skills test and an insurance knowledge test.  If we determine that you are qualified to become a wahve, we will match you with one of our clients.  If we do not have a job available that matches your expertise, we will keep your file active, and as soon as we receive a request, we will contact you.

“How much will I earn per hour?”

The amount you earn will be based on the job and your experience.  The hourly rate is competitive for working from home.

“Do I have to physically attend meetings and training classes?”

No, meetings are typically conducted via the web or conference call, though you may be asked to travel on occasion for training or meetings.  If you are hired for special projects or consulting, you may have additional travel time.

“Does it cost me any money to become a Work at Home Vintage Employee contract worker?”

No, there is no fee for you to apply and become a wahve.

“Can I work whenever I’m available?”

No, but based on your availability and the client’s needs, we will agree on the days and hours you will work or on the project.

“Are the positions full time, part time or project based?”

We offer both full-time and part-time positions.  We also have requests for projects and consultants.

“Are the hours only daytime hours?”

No, the hours can be anytime day or night depending on our client needs and the hours you prefer to work.

TYPES OF JOBS

“What kind of work will I be doing?”

WAHVE offers many types of jobs:  non-voice back-office insurance businesses processes, voice-based insurance business processes and full customer-service positions, and project/consulting work.  We will match you with the type of work you wish to do.

“How is my performance monitored?”

All wahves are monitored by the client they work for and by their WAHVE relationship manager.  We check-in periodically with the clients and you.  Satisfaction Questionnaires are completed quarterly by the clients and wahves.

“What kind of management and computer support will there be available if I have questions?”

We have expert technology staff who know and understand management systems and remote technology.  They can answer your questions at all times.
